You know me too well. But I reckon Ive got this looking after ermm what are they called, ermmmm oh yes, kids, thing squared away. Ive just put him in his pushchair and hes only gone and fallen asleep. ANyway I dont know what you ladies think all the fuss is about. Ive let him do what he wants, ive let him play in his highchair and pushchair all morning and hes been no trouble, in fact ive been able to do everything I would normally do. Oh I changed his nappy. Its easiser if you just whip the nappy off, stick them in the bath to wash the poo off, no wipes, no poo on hands everyones a winner. I should do thi smore often. Change his bum you lazy so-and-so. and try not to use a whole pack of wipes in the process.
By the time OH comes home, dinner should be ready, house tidy, DS bathed and ready for bed and you should enquire about her day with genuine interest in your voice-AND LISTEN to what she says.
Take DS to the park and give him lots of fresh air-stay off the laptop and paly with him.

lol, my little lad would do a better job than me with the car thats for sureLenny you could always try the garage, according to my step mum she once left my dad in charge of my little brother who was 5 at the time while she popped to the shop. he decided that he'd go and play golf so he called her to say that james was in the garage working on fixing the lawn mower. She raced home sure enough there was the little lad covered in oil from head to foot. father of the year award????This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hey Jacs, I remember the days when you would leave the pram/pushchair outside the shop whilst you went in. But not nowadays though eh. It does make me wonder if we are turning into a nanny state, fearing to tread where others used to. Im sure nowadays that you could leave your kid outside and it would be fine and no one would nick them. For instance, the little fella is outside asleep in his pushchair in the back garden. But I am painfully aware that should he be 'nicked' I would probably grill myself and people would say 'he shouldnt have left him unattended in the back garden' We do worry far too much sometimes and the world is drowning in its own sick as people, businesses etc etc are terrified of doing something for fear of its repercussions. I think as people we should be more honourable and look at ourselves more when things or mistakes happen and not look to blame other people. I too am guilty of this. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
