I Want To Buy An Electric Piano But Know Nothing Of Pianos Or Music - Help

I would like to buy an electric piano for my other half but as stated above know nothing about pianos, electrical or otherwise or music!

Can anyone recommend a brand that is very good? I am hoping to get one for a few hundred pounds & am hoping some canny MSErs might be able to help & give me a few pointers.

Thanks very much!

Hi check out this thread, as I posted there I've been happy with a Clavinova for many years now but there are Roland equivalents which I'm sure are just as good. It just depends how much you want to pay!

Thanks very much for the quick reply! I nearly fell over when I saw how much they are (told you I know nothing about this stuff!)

Does it have to be a surprise? I had an musical instrument bought for me once - which was a wonderful thought - but it wasn't the one I wanted. I was then stuck with it for years because we couldn't afford another one when I already had the one I'd been given!

An instrument is a very personal thing - let him/her make his/her own choice!
