Chicken Tonight 730g Jar 49p Home Bargains Stores

Went into Home Bargains this afternoon and they had some great offers on as usual. I got a 730g Jar of Chicken Tonight Spanish Chicken for 49p, what a bargain as i normally pay £1.16 for a 500G jar. I think the reason they may be selling it on offer as it's not the new label design.

This is a very good buy, there are also offers on the standard size jars 500g at Tesco's BOGOF £1.16 and Somerfield 58p each 500g Size.

Hope this helps someone.

I usually do, it's not that oftenm i buy packet or jarred sauces, my partner really likes the Chicken Tonight Spanish Chicken Flavour so i bought it to make for him this evening.

You are a little Cynical, sometimes there isn't always the time to handmake everything and it works out alot more expensive.

not a food critic...I just enjoy real food, not processed crap like this that doesnt contain anything resembling real food...i get fed up with this country's pathetic attitude to food.....we could learn alot from the french or italians or some asian countries

as for going out to a restaurant either we pay silly amounts of money for decent food or suffer from the muck (some microwaved!!) served in most platstic restuarnt chains.....brewer's fayre, harvester, beefeater

I cook proper home cooking everytime my partner is at home and i mean real home cooking the type your gran would be proud of you making, we don't really buy anything artificial and processed, just the odd jar of cooking sauce occasionally.

I can cook dishes from alot of continents as well as am well travelled and lived abroad for a while.

Give the poster a break, a lot of people eat these things, so it is a great bargain. Well done Pesky2 for spotting it.

We could learn a lot from the French? They eat anything...horse burger with a side order of frog anyone ;)

Thanks for your support Guys, i must admit it's the first time i have posted something and there has been a little bit of a debate afterwards.

Home Bargains is a fantastic store, I get things for my Nana, i got her Tuc Biscuits 29p, Pistachio Nuts 49p, Cashew Nuts 49p, Poppets Raisins 17p.

The prices are remarkable and i love the shop. If you are in the North East the stores are Home Bargains I believe they are Quality save in the North West.

Oxo Cubes 49p for 12 as well and around 70p in Tesco's etc.
