Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts

Try boot sales, usually cheaper :j
  • Just a small addition to the discussion - because I was baking so many cakes per week I thought that a Kenwood Major would be better than a Chef, I bought one and sold it a couple of years later. The bowl was just too deep and narrow so it was hard to get to the bottom to scrape the mixture, an ordinary wooden spoon wasn't long enough so I used a wine makers long spoon. I never really liked it, it was just to big and noisy.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just found this thread and realised that I have my Mums old Kenwood chef somewhere with all the attachments (well lots of them anyway!) She really loved this machine so I should really go find it and give it a try out.

Many thanks to Paul for the download instruction and recipe manual! I could be needing that soon! :D

Or the local paper? at least that way you could see it working
  • Hi again
tried posting yesterday but think was a gremlin in the works!
Anyway have read all your advice and will try offering slightly less as bits are missing - splatter cover and lid of liquidiser but will be happy to get this I think as more useful than just a bread maker and can batch bake several loaves/cakes at once in oven!
Thanks again to everyone for info - will let you know how I get on!
