signing up for talk talk through quidco...help please?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to all of this but very excited and looking forward to saving some money! I saw the new discount with talk talk with two months free line rental and can be found at this link through martins last weekly email... http://www.talktalk.co.uk/talktalk/servlet/gben-server-PageServer?article=MAIN.UK.TALKTALK.PORTAL.USWITCH.USWITCH0208

and it shows the extra discount but when I click through quidco into talk talk I can't seem to find anything about the extra discount and looks like would just get the regular still good rate of 16.39 a month without 2 months free line rental. there doesnt seem to be a search facility on the site to search for 'uswitch offer'.

Anyone got any ideas or how i find that page? Maybe i'm being a bit silly not being able to find it!

Thanks, Karfy xxxxx

  • It looks like they are preventing you getting a double discount this is usual for energy switches where they have a number of offers out at the same time. The only way you could try and get round it is to click through Quidco and then come out and go through your link, it won't track but will register your earlier clickthrough and you could raise a missing earnings. Failing that just choose which deal is best for you and go for that one.

Ok so think I've realised you only get discount if go through uswitch....think someone might have said that but didn't understand. Think getting the 48 pounds cashback is better than the two months free line rental, thanks guys.

yes you can only go through uswitch or quidco not both

i went through quidco and it track and validated immediately

so it a good deal to go through quidco as topcashback are only offering £24 in respect of cashback so its worthwile looking at either cash back site when making a purchase as they do vary in respct of the cash back fee.

ok cool thanks yep I've just signed up for topcashback so will check both. 48 seems great for signing up for talk talk! Just signed up for halifax car insurance and that has a cashback of 40 pounds so hope it tracks.
