End of Mortgage Deal

Hi
My current mortgage deal has ended. I've been offered a very good rate to switch, but i've just been told by a friend that they had really bad customer service from this building society - don't know what to do!!
Any advice would be appreciated, my current mortgage is a tracker rate mortgage but the two year low rate is due up and my payments would go up by £80 per month - so need to change
