Thanks for all the messages guys :D

Yes it felt so good yesterday calling them up and canceling the cards.

Im moving my last card onto a 0% card today so no more interest on that and fingers crossed should start to see that go down :D

    Excellent.!!!

I dont have ANY credit available to me, and have learnt to live without it. Thats the best feeling. I couldnt imagine spending above my means anymore.

    Keep up the good work.

  • I have 2 credit cards for emergencies but to avoid temptation I keep them in the loft.

The hassle of getting the ladder out of the shed, climbing up and finding them FAR outweighs any short lived enjoyment of shopping!!

I too have decided I have to cancel the credit cards and give the plastic the old heave ho as I really find it hard to resist spending on them.

I have just this afternoon resisted the urge to buy 2 new pairs of boots (both exactly the same but in different colours) and I feel mega pleased with myself that I put them both down and walked out of Top Shop. That is not something I can usually do, so I am learning - slowly but surely, I'm learning!!
I say what I like, I like what I say!
