Sounds like one of the offers in a Viz magazine!
"Twighlight tupperware cruises"
None of us are getting any younger, and let's face it - you can't take it with you. Prices start from £15,995 per person (that's about a mattress full). Price includes cup of tea and sit down at Hull, all food and Tupperware are extra. A generous 10% discount is available for the geriatrically disorientated. Book now before you die.
Yes my time is ticking away and I've already lost most of my marbles, I enclose £15,995 cash.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
I called them today on there freefone number. I told the woman i was one of the many lucky winners (her voice drops as she says a dissapointed Oh) and to thank them i would be ringing and hanging up every 10 mins or so, just to waste there time like they wasted mine! do it, its great fun! they will soon get the message!
Mine was addressed to a mr S C so its obviously some crap ive filled out using a false name before!

I feel honoured, now I know I am a real MSEr, what's life without these scams to look forward to. I got my letter this morning, recorded delivery, business post, the lot, you have to commend them for all the time and effort they put into this.
But seriously, most of my post is delivered to my mum's house (boring story) and it was a pain for her, plus she was really excited at first and thought I had really won something, shouldn't this be reported to a trading standards type or something?:AIf anything I say starts to make sense, PANIC!0 -
I got a letter too thought the envelope looked dodgey like a fake recorded delivery envelope and the you have 7 days to reply just did not ring true. Its so great to have MSE to refer too thanks everyone who posts!
The ones I really hate are the telephone scams can BT not do more to stop them?:rolleyes:0 -
I've just got my 2nd Seasons Holidays letter through...
It seems that they are 'very surprised' that I haven't run stampeding to them to collect my prize and... what's more, they also have tickets to the Cheltenham Cup for me too worth £130!
Arn't I the lucky one?

hmmm, we've taken up the offer, and are going to one of their UK places for a week in the summer, then planning to get the 'money back guarantee' and cancel it. Anyone else had any experience of this?0
-
PLEASE STAY CLEAR! I joined paid the fee, they couldn't fit me in on any holidays that i wanted, I felt that I had to book somewhere and ended up cancelling. not good service, they havn't returned my money although if i wasn't happy with service it was promised to be returned and they have used the excuse that i never stayed in any of there resorts so therefore i wasn't entitled to a refund, but i could never get in anywhere when i could take a holiday. As I said best stay well clear. Now they sent me the bill for this year are asking for payment via cheq alarm bells I think in this present economy never pay for anything like this with a cheq always with a credit card so you are covered if this company goes bust!0
