Does anyone here get the Paula Begoun emails? The recent one was about Boots products.
The full article can be found here.
    Here's a quote:
Reading the product descriptions and claims might make you think otherwise, but keep in mind that wordplay doesn’t translate into helping you achieve perfect skin. As it turns out, although Boots has an extensive list of products, very little of their assembly is worth cheering for. You’ll find some great options for cleansers, scrubs, sunless tanners, and for treating dry, chapped lips, all at fair prices, and that’s good news.

What’s not as good are the claims that merely serve as teasers to convince you that these products are revolutionary when they are little more than the standard vanilla model.
    and
...although there are dozens of Boots moisturizers available, the similarities among them are shocking, as is the fact that only a few of them even approach meeting the criteria for what makes a great moisturizer.
What do you all think? :)

Back from Worthing retail park, nothing to report. No nail kits, no expert tins and not much on clearance either. Tried ACM for more med vouchers but wouldn't let me have any

I did get P&P serum, day and night cream for just over £20 though (on 342 and I had some vouchers to use) so i'm well pleased. Been after this combination for a while but just too expensive to buy normally ......... which brings me on to the comments about boots own products ...... I thought No7 P&P was the only cream to have been proven to work which is why it flew off the shelves some months ago .... maybe i'm wrong  ? Tbh, I'm not one for listening to comments like that ... as long as it makes me feel good and works for me then i'm happy to keep buying :D

Netimka - have been in Fishergate this am but could not find any med soaps - but noticed on another post this am that some one got them in Deepdale
HTH. even though I was in early this am all the nail sets had disappeared
presumably to staff as there were 2 tucked away on No7 shelf by the Sales Assistant!!

when i picked up my free time delay serum yesterday the sales assistant told me it was practically the same formula as the p&p and there really wasnt much difference between the two,as i said i used the p&p normally.x

Sarah I was about to post as to whether anyone had managed a gift set with the soap as I read someone was going to try it today.
So basically the dearer item is going through as free & not the soap. Is this the case with all purchases or just chancing which it'll work with. Any failed yet?

Great shop & thanks for running guinea pig as usual.
Did you use self scan or through a till?
