Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I'm off to enfield today (1st time in months) so i'll report back clearance-wise when I get back.
    :D

DON'T BOTHER!!! OOOh I hope you see this before you go and save yourself the effort. Enfield is utter pants! I live a ten minute walk from the store and have just come back. As per usual no working ACMs, no clearance, no hatboxes, no nail sets and almost nothing upstairs which has turned into a wasteland. Had a nice chat with the manager and told him to sort the place out :rotfl: :rotfl:

The bigger one at Brookfield Farm is great (lovely staff too), but no current clearance or hatboxes and I had the last 3 nail sets last night. ACMs work fine though and tend to give more offers than the machines in Enfield.

Ohhhhh I just got a voucher through the post for one of the survey sites I participate in ...... guess what store the voucher is for :p and guess where i'm going this afternoon ! :D

No nail kits as yet (been to my local this morning) but i've still got 3 more stores I can try (I did say I was all bootsed out but tbh I'm quite happy looking too!)

Hi. Newbie to this thread so sorry if this is an stupid question.

I tried to get the nail kit yesterday and the SA told me that it was £10. Are the reductions not nationwide?

Did the SA scan it ? This one appears to be a nationwide reduction, haven'tseen anyone post that it was priced above the £2.50. SA possibly had her eye on it?

No she didn't scan it. Just looked at it and said ten pounds, which to be fair, is what it said on the SEL. But there was a big pile of them and they have been there for a couple of weeks.

Maybe it's worth a trip into town then?

    Thanks x

  • Finally caught up with all the posts (it took me long enough) :j

Overslept a bit as OH tripped all the electrics and clocks/alarms went off  - Will stick to my phone in future!

Now going to get ready in record timing so I can leave for Next and Boots :rotfl:

Also noticed that other users have been commenting on the no.7 counter staff...I was in a rush 2 weeks ago (Dad's birthday) the que's were LONG and thought there's no one at the no.7 counter and seeing as I had loads of no.7 stuff I would use that. Turns out I got one of the nicest people in the store serving me and she was telling me all the deals I could get with my purchases etc and even went to swap a JF hairspray for me as the lid wasn't staying on!

Ended up getting one of those survey things and logged onto the website to do it, boasting her up on how good she was etc and then when I was next in Boots (Good Friday) she was working again and I used her and told her about the survey (wanted to make sure I got her name right and didn't use another member of staff's till - I had btw lol) And again she rung up my purchases and told me about the offers (one first name terms now)! :rotfl:

Since then seen her working on Wed and used her (was with a friend this time) so managed to get loads of no.7 sale stuff with her...Went in yesterday (Friday) about half four and just before they closed in she walked on her day off hahaha so last four Boots trips I have seen her there and going back today so she might even be working then lol!

Been a bit quite this morning, shall I assume everyone is at the Next sale?

Right I am off to Next, Boots and then working from 4pm! Going out after work and can't wait to get home and read about all the bargains everyone has got today! How sad is that hahaha :rotfl:

Oh and also sent out my mum and sister to another Boots to see what they can find (for me lol :D - they were going anyway ;) ) so will report back later!

Didn't find any Expert tins yesterday (SA's didn't know they were back), no hatboxes and nothing decent in the clearance section :( I probably have enough though, just hope my OH doesn't read me typing that hahaha!

Hope everyone is out getting their bargains today, just not from my Boots or Next lol still gotta get ready and leave lol :rotfl:

I would go, other people have reported SEL as £10 too but scanning at £2.50, don't forget 3 4 2 too
