How are you going to do this, are you going to just get a price check on it or just chance putting it through. I never seem to have the guts to check these glitches out as knowing my luck I will get charged the full price ! Are you going to try it?
    :A

that's how I feel too:D not sure how much the set is and whether I would want to pay full price. I wonder if you can take it back if it goes through at full price.

  • Did I hear there was a clinique GWP?

Also what is the best way to use a 500 points No7 voucher? I'm hopefully going to boots tomorrow.

    Thanks

See the first page for a picture of the Clinique GWP, you get it with any two purchases (cheapest things are shampoo and conditioner at £8 each if you're really after the GWP.)

As for the 500 points voucher, you could combine it with the 3 for 2 offer on No 7. There are currently some No 7 nail sets reduced to £2.50 so if you're lucky you could get 3 of these and 500 points for £5 (if you wanted them!)

They wouldn't let me do this glidergirluk

I've spoken to cs about this before and you are allowed to as some stores don't have the item in stock and other stores don't have an acm. Today I printed vouchers in Margate and used them in Westwood without any problems, think you just got an awkward sa passion.
Just checked on a voucher and it doesn't say where it was printed so I'd just hand them over, no reason why they shouldn't go thru'.

For those that asked I got myself the reduced TB bag and the gift set of DKNY Red Delicious with the ex's points, then bought myself some nice Bourjois bits with some of my till spits and a bit of my birthday money.

Thanks for all the Happy Birthdays girls xxx

p.s. I haven't had a med offer yet either, but none of my local stores stock the soap so may have to head to Canterbury next wk.... if anybody manages to get one in Canterbury can they pm me TIA

It might be this one, I saw this instore last night before I had 'Clicked' about the glitch. Thats the one I was thinking of today........is that just a bit greedy though LOL:D

Passion, it does say on .com that you CAN use your ACM vouchers in other stores here. One to print out and take with you if needed :rotfl:

    Thanks geordie_lass :) I'll just copy the T&C here for posterity ;)

"They are only found in larger Boots stores, but the coupon offers provided can be used in other Boots stores provided they have not expired."

I can't believe that a SA told me I had to return to the store that I'd printed a voucher off from. I felt like a prize twit at the time :o

I can't complain as it was part of my very first complaint to Boots - but I CAN print the thing out for future use ;)

Edited to add: My little local Boots had no idea if other stores vouchers could be used in their store either. The only way they could tell, they said, was by trying them ??

Second edit: Thanks *Bright-Idea*. I never got to the bottom of my complaint to CS as it read like a shopping list lol.

First thanks to those who have posted so much info to get nice smellies for as little as possible, having read this thread I have so far tried the S&G glitch and was so scaried but excited when it went through. So read more this week and going to try more tomorrow after work. So from what I gather these are the glitches at the moment, please correct me if i'm wrong.

-Trevor Sorbie are 2 for £7, so if I buy a shampoo i'll get the conditioner free (if I use the PC voucher-BUT it says its the 75ml not the full size bottle) so should I pick the full size bottle on both?? Plus use the 100pts from the ACM and a £2 till split and I should pay 51p (but works out to be -49p)

-UG Shampoo and conditioner 2 for £6 and if I use a £2 till split = 1.50 for the 2.

-Buy the Med Almond Wheatgerm Milk Body Wash OR the Body Scrub and get the soap free-but ONLY pay only £1.50.

-No7 nail kits advertised as £10 but MAY go through as £2.50 and are 342 so 3 for £5.00

-Buy any expert range and get 100points

-MF gwp go through the till as £0.00

-Wisdom toothbrush sensitve or medium with voicher in mag = -1p

    -Boots wipes 3 for £3

Phew, thats an all mighty big shop compared to what I normally buy from Boots. Can I buy all the above together to get another £2 till split??

    TIA

i suppose if the SA doesn't read the voucher and just scans it and is not clued up on prices....maybe put it through with something else to disguise the low price. I would probably have shaking legs and a very guilty look on my face:D would be interested to see if anyone manages it. Sat or Sun could be a good time to try:D

Glad you've managed to get some scorpio ..... i'm just sorry it's not working for everyone ! I've managed to get 4 so far (1 yesterday at Bognor, 2 off my AC today and 1 of DDs AC today) and all have gone through as the more expensive item being free. I might have to pop and try the ACM again tomorrow and make the most of the glitch (I love this stuff too but so does my mum and my sister so i'm going to get them some too).

I am kind of scared that if I try again though i'm going to be rumbled and they will see that I've already got some via the glitch. I don't want to be banned ! lol ..... (Worthing is the store where I run off with the gwp when SA wasn't looking - she was guarding with her life !)

hahaha :rotfl: I'm impressed though, well done! :T My mum loves it too,so i will undoubtably share with her. Don't be scared hun, pray there is a new face on the tills tomorrow or venture forth :D

pcyam, good luck with your shop! And you get a £2 off colour cosmetics till spit with a £5 spend, so you may want to break up your shopping into smaller transactions as you only get one per transaction (so 1 if you spend £5, 1 if you spend £25 BUT 5 if you do 5 £5 transactions, if you get what I mean.)
