    Awww no go i'm afarid Valk_scot :(
Tried the Bourjois nail polish remover in the Trafford Centre tonight, didn't work - got the stupid beep! Damn shame cos it looked lovely too. Is it just the TC thats beeping cos this would make a great till spit purchase for 49p? Ah well back to the sharpeners for now then, they work fine..

Went through fine for me in Fort a couple of days ago...no beep at all. There's no ryhme or reason to Boots tills, is there?

You know SK, that looks like a really unnecessary sideways swipe to me, and it's pretty obvious what it refers to.

Any chance that we can all move on yet?

Just an update on my complaint to customer service, I got a nice letter from them, with an apology. They refunded the delivery charge on my .com order, and gave me 2000 points on my card. I e-mailed them and the reply said there were 'discrepancies' in what I told them and what the SA's said, and a comment that I had predicted this online!! Hello Mr. Smith. It was also said that they had taken into account what I had written on line. Two references to this site, as it is the only place I have written anything. I have contacted Trading Standards, so will keep you updated.
Rosy, good to see that CS have acted so promptly and taken the time to investigate your complaint thoroughly.

PS: Good morning Mr Smith :D

It depends what you want to buy/what you would use.
There are some good offers on the Expert facial skincare 3for2 and still get GWP, Expert Total bodycare range also has an ACM voucher for 250 points, the facial spritz (like Magicool) has an ACM voucher for £2 off, dry mouth spray or mouthwash has ACM voucher for 150 points.
The cheapest items seem to be the soothing lip protector and the razors, lip protector has gone through as part of a 3for2 for me but some peeps have been refused.
Maybe you could do a combi of these offers to get the things you like and max out on points too, there's a 100 points voucher in the mag for 100 points on Expert too, this will combine with other Expert vouchers and offers..
