Printed off my vouchers from the ACM (2 x UG half price cond. and 2 x med. soap) and off I trotted...... first to the No7 stand, where I managed to get 3 nail kits (SEL said £10 but I knew better), then off to the med. section where there were 3 soaps winking at me. Popped 1 into basket along with the almond body wash (wanted to try it on something "cheaper" first!).... a quick detour to the UG stand, shampoo & conditioner into basket and off to the tills went I.
The SA put everything through, I handover over the vouchers, she scanned, they didn't beep (hurrah) and then she said "hang on a minute..... (oh !!!!!! I thought!) this has taken off the body wash instead of the soap". Me: "really? oh gosh". She then called over to the SA at the next till "Margaret*, this voucher is wrong, it's taken off the body wash and it's supposed to take off the soap". Marge replied "really Joyce*, well if that's what the till says, then it must be right" (I'll be going to YOU next thought I). Joyce congratulated me on my bargains and off I went again.
I got the blue gift bag the 2nd time and the UG shampoo & cond. again (in a feeble attempt to disguise my purchases!) and off I went to Marge. Eyebrows raised she said "so, you think you're going to get this free?". I went bright redand stuttered "er..... hopefully?" and she put it all through and it worked
She looked absolutely amazed and handed over my bag (slightly begrudgingly I thought!) and I then legged it
As I was leaving, I glanced back and Marge was getting up from her chair and looked like she was logging herself off her till. Going to get the last soap and gift bag maybe?!
I bored H ALL the way home in the car about it..... am still high as a kite now(this was the Coventry Central 6 store btw, to add to the list of stores that it works at).
*names have been changed to protect the innocent. No SAs were harmed in the purchasing of these bargains.

No way - like Tesco CC, it's a highly successful (& clever) marketing scheme! Would any of us buy anywhere near as much of overpriced Boots stuff without all these goodies? We all know the answer to that one, eh ladies?
By the way - I've just found two MF GWPs in my stash (the pink or yellow & black ones from last year), but have stupidly emptied them, although not used. Can anyone confirm what's actually meant to be in them? Thanks0 -

Have any of you lovely ladies (Um...Men) out there happen to have a spare pink ilum powder that they would swap for either a peach or brown one?
I never managed to get one as our local Boots don't stock them I would really have loved to have got one!
Big thanks in advance...........its my birthday today so was kind of hoping that someone would take pitty on me (LOL). I had planned a shopping trip to Westwood Cross today.........& a possible Boots spend up of cours as a treat but my little girl is sick so its a day at home for me too!

H said to me "are you okay? You look all flustered" and I was like "just GO, just DRIVE. Go, go, GO" :rotfl:
Ah, that's a shame about only 2 eachI *think* my mum has an AC that she very rarely uses ( ) so I'll ask her if I can borrow it
Lol @ the vouchers being in the back of the mags....... we wish
I do wonder though how long this one will last, if Boots will clock it or a vigilant SA reports it 'high up' and they put a stop to our fun?Well done, I got one the other day and was shaking like a leaf.. I think this happens until you become a fully fledged Glitch Goddess( Scorpio kitten;) ) I have certainly got a long way to go !!!! so plenty more shaking, blushing, sweaty palms...you name it I got it !! As you said in your post what is the worst that is going to happen?
Hope you succeed in more
