Cheaper Courier Costs

I just wanted to warn you about some of the on-line companies offering cheap tariffs with DHL. I have had three disasters with one of these companies. Things to beware of:
These 'brokers' do not accept responsibility for lost parcels, if there is a problem they fail to compensate and will not chase up the whereabouts of your parcel. Sorry, Martin, can't support you on this one at all.
Priority will be given to account holders, so if they are busy, or you live a little off their regular route, you may not get your parcel collected until a day or so after you've ordered the collection.
Again, with delivery, priority is given to account holders, so your parcel may be kicking around in the van for a few days because they haven't passed where your parcel needs to go.
This may not matter to you if you're not meeting any deadlines, but if starting up in business and looking to save money, it may end up costing you more. It can damage your company reputation making you look unreliable.
Parcels don't get looked after, are thrown around, stood on and can arrive in pieces.
I have found it more cost effective to pay a courier with racks in their vans, know exactly when they're collecting and dropping off. I will never, ever use DHL again.
