OK so I'm a little bit closer to making £500 to cover the silliness of the other day

My Grandma just gave me £10 and I found 1p on the floor. Had a no spend day so far, but I know I will be spending money tonite
Went to Tesco with Mum and she let me use my Clubcard as I had a load of vouchers for free points, but it meant I got the points for shopping and using our own bags as well
Will be able to save a bit of money tonite though as can use my NUS card to get cheap entry to the club we are going to, I can get the night bus back to my Mum's rather than a taxi which will save a fortune, because the weather is horrible I probably won't go out to smoke much which means my pack of cigs will last even longer, will limit myself to buying 2 alcoholic drinks and the rest of the nite will be a bottle of water - which I can fill up in the toilets
Will see how many lovely people miss me so much that they want to buy me drinks as well  I can always find a few suckers, I mean kind people :rotfl: :ADFW Nerd 145

Not much to report today except more spending

Managed to have a fairly cheap nite out last nite and didn't spend anything during the day.
Spends for yesterday 28/3/08
Bus fare - £4 (included nightbus fare so no taxi which would have been £12)
Entry to club - £4 (should have been £5.50, I love my NUS card!!)
Drinks - £6.50
TOTAL - £14.50
Not great, but could have been worse.
Had a bit of a spending day again today but was all on travelling so kind of unavoidable, I'm in for the nite though so no more spending today, and I'm back home now so can start making some money and stop spending!!
So spends for today 29/3/08
Tram - £2.70
Taxis - £10.50 for 3 taxis
TOTAL - £13.20
I did manage to charge my phone up on the train though which saves my electricity bill a bit, and when I opened my post, I had £12 high street vouchers as payment for a survey I did ages ago!! :T
Gonna have an early nite, and start working like crazy tomorrow on making some money

Signed up for MoneyBackMadness so got a £10 signup bonus there, and received a big bag of books from a lovely lady on Freecycle so I can sell some of those and read the rest, possibly sell those as well depending on whether I like them enough to keep them or not.
Aiming for a no spend day tomorrow, can't think of anything I need to get, and will be pretty busy tomorrow, so should be easy enough
Also need to figure out how much I have to live on for the next 6 months as I've spent way too much this week, so my lovely healthy looking finances have gone down the toilet  Lets just hope it's not too bad as I've got to sort out a deposit, removal van, new bed and sofa and various other things as well as my normal outgoings!!

Somehow I also have to come up with enough money in the next few months to cover fees and deposit for new flat, removal van, a bed and a sofa!!
Doing the 'make £10 per day challenge' so that will help and haggling with the landlord at the moment to try and get them to provide a bed for me to save me buying one
Am job hunting like mad and going to sell as much stuff as I can, as well as have as many no spend days as possible. Will only be buying essential items and 'top up' food and any money I don't spend out of my monthly budget will be going in the 'moving house fund' :A
