Make sure you get the enclosure. It should be illegal to sell them without one. You really do need one. It's saved my kids countless times.

Someone in work also said if a neighbour or a friends child gets hurt they could make a claim against you for not providing sufficient safety measures.

I havent got an enclosure on mine, but sad to say that if any of little miss divadees friends go on it, i actually put a disclaimer up saying children play at own risk, and i warn parents about this when there children come to play.

its so sad that in this day and age you have to do this.

Made the trip to Toys'R'Us and surprisingly they are out of stock

Of course they tried to sell me a similar spec one for a few dollars more (quite a few dollars more actually). Asked when they would come back into stock and got the usual "Hugh" response.

Back to square one, index one with enclosure sold out also and they wont be restocking. Lxdirect only have the 8ft in stock and no enclosure, must try Macro again and Smyths, will keep you posted
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

It's a pity you are having diffs getting one at a reasonable price, I'm assuming that with the forecasted good weather for this summer, people are making a mad dash and snapping them up as soon as they hit the stores. Let us know how you get on. ;)
  • I'll be in Newry tomorrow...I'll check prices in world of wonder. They're normally not too bad.

Not sure if it will help, but it may be worth having a look at this thread.

  • World of Wonder in Newry have a 13ft Trampoline with Enclosure for £199.99, and my kids informed me that Dunnes Store in Newry (Old Creamery Branch), also have a 13ft one, but don't know how much.

Divadee, that sign isn't worth the paper it's written on. You cannot exclude yourself from liability for death or personal injury, even if the parents were to sign an agreement that they wouldn't sue. Public liability insurance is the only way to protect yourself from being hit with a large lawsuit should the unthinkable happen. :(

EDIT: Just spotted [thread=53963]THIS[/thread] on the Grabbit board.

I know this was discussed before but I can't seem to find the thread. I'm in the market for a large trampoline with safety net. Any good deals out there?
