Not fair i havent got mine yet!!! only joking.PLeased you have got yours as i put a thread on here about cheap wooden benches that only some of us got, the rest had lots of problems etc and i felt quite guilty. At least this posting we are benefiting from even if it does cause us pain in the process!!! Let you know how i get on when i receive mine. Probably be Monday as it shows on my Amazon account as having been despatched.

Well guys, I always have myself 'defuzzed' with sugaring :) that's not too bad and probably toooooooo much information but I always remove my bikini line with tweezers:eek: .....I know....sounds painful but it's not so bad, so, I am hoping this will seem like heaven compared :)

Sorry to put you off your supper :D

ooowwwww!!! Emmy that tweezing the bikini line sounds like torture, rather you than me. My sister though does her under arms with tweezers, i think it depends a lot on how hairy you are and the type of hair you have. She is fair haired and her hair is fine but i am dark haired and mine is thick and coarse and therefore tougher to come out. Ive tried sugaring too which is ok but thought i would try this epilator as theres no preparation and mess then.

a tip in the instructions is that it works better if your hairs are shorter c. 5mm...mine were a bit long !
  • I probably should have posted something earlier but now that you ladies are 'defuzzed' wait a few weeks for your newly INGROWN hairs! Yes, aside from redirecting hair growth, this thing also tries to act as a shaver, so 'many weeks of hair-free legs' is actually a fable i've yet to see.

My silk-epile purchased at full price from Argos doesn't see life outside its box anymore. lol :rotfl:

However, let me take this opportunity to praise the virtues of waxing. Quick, easy, and large areas get done at once.

    Good luck!

Hey!! Just had a knock on the door and its a lady with my parcel with epilator (bit strange on a Sunday i thought but im not complaining). Im all excited now (think thats the right word or maybe nervous is more like it!!) going to go and give it a go. Not on me first though he he!. Just asked daughter if i can try it on her first. I will see her reaction then perhaps have a go myself.
    Update later.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thanks - just ordered mine - think there's only one left now!!

With the ingrown hair problem - I get this no matter ewhat type of hair removal apart from Veet so I scrub my legs every day and it seems to help - also a quick wipe over with my Clinique lotion - the number 3 in the 1-2-3 series - works on the underside of my arms - the acid in it takes off the top layer of dead skin apparently.

Noooooo, dont go near your underarm with it!!

But it's no probs on thelegs, just like pin pricks as someone else has said. The 'pain' is more shock really, each time a hair is removed. It doesn't actually hurt as such!
