Annoyed at OH's IVA company

EW I think it is time to tell this company to take a long walk off a short plank and talk to National Debtline, CCCS or the CAB.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

That is unacceptable. Why is a licenced insolvency practitioner asking an already insolvent person to contribute funds to an IVA that are under the scrutiny of the OR !
From what you say, your OH has nothing to fear from BR, and even if she got a BRO they are meaningless for most people anyway.

She spoke to some debt charity, i cant remember which one now back in January and they recommended Debt Free Direct, what a bunch of idiots they were, they advised an IVA for me when i had zero surplus
, she then did some digging around and found an IVA forum and MG did a lot of posting on there and offered plenty of free advice, OH had plenty of replies to postings and no one had a bad word to say about MG.
OH also spoke to CCCS but i think she was put off them as she has no money to pay for an IVA with them, so her only option seemed to be a no win no fee type company.Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I had it all and now its gone

"I am putting forward IVAs for as little as 15p in the £ now if they are appropriate, and in the client's and creditors best interests. I also have a lot of lower paying clients in my portfolio who are happily sustaining their arrangements - because it is important for them to see their debts being repaid."
Thanks for that Peachy, looks like the only people that reply to those posts on that forum are IP's and companies trying to sell their services, i noticed one person being an assisted bankruptcy expert.Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I would tell them to get stuffed.
Has your OH read the boards here and told her that we are a nice bunch? My EX-oh had the same issues - scared of BR. As we all are/were.0
