No I posted a very similar comp as well - telegraph & mychild for maths tuition, but I haven't entered either of those comps as I have no children so they must have taken my number from a different mychild comp. Not your fault at all, just they have some cheek!

I didn't enter the comp, but my youngest DD's school took details of anyone who wanted information on a Maths course designed specifically for your child. As a Governor and parent I was interested to know more. I was appalled at the hard sell phone call I received and only managed to get them off the phone by telling them I was on the verge of becoming bancrupt. Suddenly they couldn't get off the phone fast enough.

They were on Watchdog last year for this very thing, and when they paid up for whatever course they were selling, they took a monthly direct debit for subscription to a magazine. I'd be very, very careful about even entering comps with this company.

I got that last week and it took me ages to get off the phone.. in the end I got the idea I'd been struck off the competition entries just for saying no lol

.... my 10 year old doesn't need their help and my 2 year old I can cope with just fine as well.... I entered the comp as it would have been nice but there is no way I want to take anything up that will cost me loads just for things you can find readily on the internet anyway!
