What is the worst thing you have ever done to save money?

I've just serviced and cleaned the parts of our septic tank/private sewage treatment plant in order to save the £100 service charge (Watched the man last time, downloaded the instructions and how they can justify £100 I'll never know....?? Just goes to show how easy it is to waste money)
Anyway - just wondered what other horrible things people do to save a few pound? Can you beat playing with poo?

Well done barshamhillbilly!
You can go onto my hero list, I want to be just like you (after a shower that is!).
I will not use taxi's, Ive walked 22 miles once home from a night out, all for the cost of a twix, bag of monster much, 10 fags and a bottle of irn bru.0 -

Blimey Payingfornowt - think I would rather clean out the sewage plant than walk 22 miles!

I have done a 28 hour straight shift at work (due to staff illness) this was in a nursing home...so it was 28 hours of poo, pee and vomit as the residents had the stomach bug too.0
