Lease Car

Hi
My hubby has a lease car through work,On the paper work it states you must not become insolvent:eek: Which we have:rolleyes:
Will we loose the car?
We pay £126 per month straight out of his wages.
Will the OR force this or will the company we have it through his work?
Got interview with OR this afternoon:o
Would not manage with one car.

Thanks in advance

Sarah

  • Well Sarah , if its anything like my car on HP (which a lease basically is) then there is a Banruptcy clause which means it has to go back . I have just learnt all this today and there is a guy coming to pick it up soon. I guess all these agreements have this clause in , which when you think about it makes sense for the lease/HP company because they "own" the car until the end of the agreement anyway.

Good Luck otherwise , dust off those walking shoes.
