I looked up my credit file online for a laugh. I didnt now the figures went down that low!!! :)

Would agree about not buying just yet as house prices are falling. We are hoping to eventually buy my sisters (the house we rent at present) she is happy for us to do it whenever we can get the money together even if it will be about 6 years!!!

Like the other poster said - now is the time to try and save some money so that when your credit rating is better you will have a ample deposit to put down!

Dave, just to let you know,I did the experian free month trial as well and not all my debts were on there, I guess the only way to do this is to get the info from all three credit report places.
I only added the ones I know about on my SOA.
    :hello:
Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.

  • thankyou all for your advice, we will keep renting your right they want at least 10% deposit which for us is impossible. as is saving a couple of hundred a month, when we went bankrupt we didnt see the benefit cos we had to move at the time cos my husband went on the sick, so theres nothing spare after paying the 650 a month rent and now the food and fuel has gone up its a real struggle, im so glad we are debt free though, one less thing to worry about!! off to see what your all talking about cleaning credit file, ive done nothing, didnt know ihad to.
no longer miserable in debt.... :T but dont know how to change my id!!
