remortgating when you have arrears

we have a mortgage that came off the discounted rate 2 years ago and i never got round to moving it. we also have a secured home loan. if possible i would prefer to combine the 2 in a new mortgage as the payments would be more manageable i suspect.
the 2 loan combine to 61% of the value of the house so considering we have had arrears and have just missed this months payments what should i do? the missed payments will be paid when the dd are re-presented.
help please.
thanks.

Hi
How many payments have you missed and what months were they?
Also which company is your mortgage with at the moment?0 -
the mortgage is with britannia and the secured loan is with ge money.
the missed payment was in may last year but no-one noticed until september so it is being paid over 6 months with the last payment due this month. however as i said the payments were not made this month as there were insufficient funds. the dd will be re-presented to the bank and be paid. apart from that 1 missed payment we have had a couple of late payments where the dd has been paid 2 weeks late since august last year due to me being off work after a major op.0 -
When you say 2 weeks late, did they fall outside of the calendar month they were due?0

no i don't think so. my dds are set up forthe 16th and i think bbs and gem re sent the requests within 2 weeks.0
