I will need to change my desktop for a laptop in the coming months, as my spare room will be getting turned into a nursery and need the space, whilst I'm over the moon about that I'm gutted to be getting rid of my desktop, so would be grateful if anyone can help me with my search for a laptop.
Ideally I'd be looking for diskspace of min 120 gb (prefer 160-200)
memory of min 1gb, but would prefer 2gb as I'd be using it for video editing,
I'm not really into gaming so maybe wouldn't need too much power in that sense.
Something around the 300-400 mark would be ideal.

Hi. Looking myself at the moment to help out SIL!
If you don't need it for gaming this Fujitsu looks like a good deal as it has 2gb memory (free upgrade) and 120gb hard drive for under £300 delivered. Has some decent reviews. Processor is not dual core but you'd be lucky to find this spec any cheaper and I've been told it's more than adequate if you don't play the latest games.

Higher spec with 160gb hard drive and a dual core processor is £376.96 delivered.

that's a really good 1 for the price was thinking of getting 1 myself0 -
Just be aware of what your buying more than anything - Are you paying for the laptop, or for the brand name? Go into PC World and compare some specs and you'll see what I mean - Vaio are !!!!!!s for adding hundreds onto their price just to get the Sony brand. Don't be afraid to buy a 'less well known' brand.Sealed Pot Challenge! Aim; £100 Currently £11.61£2 Saving Club; Aim; £200 Currently £0
