10% off everything at Argos

Argos are going to release a booklet with vouchers for Argos, Homebase, ARG and Experian employees which gives anyone who can manage to get one 10% off everything.

The vouchers will be valid from Friday the 19th August to Sunday the 21st of August 2005.

I will let you know when I get some.

  • I'm sorry, but they released them to staff about a fortnight ago, with strict instructions they were only for family and friends, not to be given to customers. I'm not sure if many stores have them left. Good luck though.
  • Even if there are strict instructions for the vouchers not to be given to anyone else apart from friends and family, I do not think it is enforcable so I do not think it will stop people handing them out to other people.

Hey if you get one at least you save 10% off, so I think i will do most of my shopping then and save some money. If i spend £100 atleast I should get £10 back.

    Not bad.

I can't believe the nerve of some people.

I have some spare that I will send them to any of my MSE friends for free (well at the cost of 2 stamps to you and with no personal gain to me). Vouchers are valid from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August and are valid in store only (and they cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers).

Send me a stamped self addressed envelope and I will send one to you by return. First class ought to make it to me and back by the weekend if you are quick.

    PM me for my address.
  • I managed to get some today!
  • I need to pick up a dishwasher and tumble dryer from Argos, so this could save me a fair few quid - would anyone send me one tomorrow or Thursday if I sent over say £1/£2 via paypal to cover stamp and envelope?
  • Hey Bargain Bunny, I would have sent you some but I only managed to get two but however if you ask m_will. He should have some.

I must remember to try and get more next time.

    Sorry
  • Thanks to both Dark_Forces (you're not the only Star Wars fanatic in this thread ;) ) and m_will for their kind offers to help.

Hopefully I should be able to get enough of a discount on white goods on Saturday to get a couple of cheap bedside tables that the new place really needs!!

    Thanks again :T

If you have not got time to send an envelope to me, you could send me 70p by PayPal (to cover the cost of a 1st class stamp, an envelope and the PayPal fee) and I will put one in the post for you. I will post as soon as I can but I cannot be held responsible for any postal delays.

PM me for my PayPal details.
  • m_will - it turned up safe today :) Thanks again!
