i want wimbledon 2008 tennis tickets

does anybody know how to get free tickets for this event? my inlaws would love to go

  • I think it is very unlikely you will be able to get free tickets unless they are won in a competition. You can apply to be entered in the ballot for tickets but these still cost you and your ballot forms would have had to be submitted months ago.

    An alternative is to go later in the day when half-price tickets go on sale. People leaving the event are asked to hand in their used tickets which are then sold again and all proceeds are given to charity.

    Unfortunately, this event is so popular that they do not need to "give complimentary" ones to publicise the event.
