Remortgage Query

Hi
I am in the middle of a remortgage and my new lender is charging me £30 to transfer the money to my conveyancer...my conveyancer is then charging me £35.50 to transfer the money onto my old lender to pay off my old mortgage!
Is there any way round me having to fork out this £65.50?! Are lenders happy to transfer the money straight to each other, rather than having to go through a middle-man?
Thanks if you can help
James
