I Did take the matter further some time ago after we moved to where we are now as the sandwiches are all £1.99, I even took it to Mc'ds HQ! The reason they are £1.99 in some outlets it that these are franchised outlets - if you have a complaint about Mc'd (which I did and wrote to HQ), it gets deferred back to the manager of the outlet store to deal with and Mcd's HQ will not intervene - this is why most of the BK and MCd's at service stations etc are priced highter. I can literally go 1 mile down the road, and only pay the £1.88. hth0 -
I don't have a problem with different outlets charging different prices, but I do resent people trying to tell you that it's that price at all their outlets, which is a downright lie
