I went away to Barcelona this week and just got back.
Neighbour kindly brought round a couple of parcels - one of them the Tchibo £9.99 waffle maker - well chguffed at that, but she brought my Boots parcel that Business Express had kindly left on my doorstep"!!!!!!
Bloody idiots!! I've a good mind to email Boots and ask them where my order is.
I won't cos I'm a fairly honest sort of person, but I am going to let them know what BE did!!! And let BE know what their driver did.

Mine was dropped over a 7 feet garden gate. The parcel was badly damaged but the goods were intact. I would normally have said something but didn't in case they noticed how little I paid for the goods!0

It's unbelivable isn't it. I have had various deliveries left on my doorstep ,including 2 large boxes with Laura Ashley written all over it for all of an afternoon, Thank goodness it didn't rain let alone get stolen.
Also the Book people ( over night!) + bargain crazy last week toys.
It seems to be an accepted practice by the couriers, the shops don't seem that interested when contacted as long as you get your goods! How much ?????????!!!0 -
This used to happen with deliveries from Lakeland Limited, so I rang and compained. The next parcel from them was left on my doorstep, addressed to Mrs Bennifred, please-do-not-leave-on-doorstep, house number and street, town etc! Truly unbelievable! Anyway, I rang again and told them if it happened again they would lose my custom. More apologies, and so far it hasn't happened again......they're still using that address, though

Surely it's the carrier who's to blame, not the supplier."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0

It may be the carrier that is to blame but you are a customer of Boots and not the carrier so any complaint should be made to Boots as its them who have a contract with the carrier rather than you.crossleydd42 wrote:Surely it's the carrier who's to blame, not the supplier.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
I've had parcels left inside my dustbin, fortunately it wasn't bin day lol, but my brother who doesn't get home from work until 7pm had various computer bits left on his doorstep all day in a large box with pictures of computers all over it. His doorstep is open and faces an allyway (no front garden) which is used as a short cut to the shops so god knows how many people walked past that box, he was totally gobsmacked to discover it still there.£2 coin savers club = £2880

Has anyone checked their card balance to see if they have got the extra points awarded on the night or the points as described on the invoice in my case its 1000 points instead of 7000 which would have been 3500 without extrasFour guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
