Sar,
Considering the current state of affairs in the pub/bar industry, I would think most would be happy to try SOMETHING to bring the punters on....
On a totally different note-I just spent a good 2 hours cleaning the carpets in my breakfast room and living room as they were so dirty it was embarassing-just finished, was sitting down to admire my handiword and DS ran into the living room WITH HIS TRAINERS ON FULL OF MUD and tracked mud all over my clean carpet! I almost CRIED!!!! I was sooooooo cross. I think I scared the living sh!te out DS as the screech eminating from my mouth was quite scary...
On A DFW note-it cost £15 to clean the 2 carpets...not bad. And OH insisted that the kids DIDN'T need Clarkes shoes for play shoes so we went to Matalan and got them each 2 pairs for playing out in for £19! Even I was impressed...You can't get one pair of Clarkes for that (although I insist that they have Clarkes for school...Feel very virtuous now, lolEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Hi Bunny
I can sympathise with the carpet/mud mum explosion, I have had them many times. Luckily now the boys are older I have them trained to remove shoes in the hallway. We bought a carpet cleaner and its amazing how much dirt comes out...like you I look on in glee as I pour the minging water down the sink.
Just had a lovely bath and am feeling more chilled out than earlier.
Off now to re-heat the Indian Takeaway leftovers from last night.
Will be back later xxBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Bunny, I have a very large dog, who likes nothing better than to dig big holes and get muddy. Not to mention, 2 mucky kids.
Dont stress too much about the carpet hun. Just wait for the mud to dry, and it should vac out
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I know I shouldn't stress, it was just so frustrating-I got the mud out with a good scrub but now my fingers hurt, lol
Anyone up to anyhitng nice tonight?Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Dont waste your time scrubbing - let it dry and simply vac it out.
We'd only had our beige carpet a few months when we got the dog, so I too have stressed like you
I've got lots of naughty things to finish eating - the diet starts tomorrow and I need to cleanse the house
