Yes I Have Heard Of Freecycle .........but It Is Trying To Get Something Started In The Local Area......... It Is Easy To Make Fun Of Something That Can Made A Difference Like Reducing The Landfill And Giving An Item You Dont Want A New Home And Also Looking For Something And Getting It For Free . Why Not Join In The Group And Increase The Local Community Spirit:beer:0

Ummm, surely Freecycle is actually all about getting something started in the local area? Why re-invent the wheel?
Sorry, I meant "Why Re-Invent The Wheel?"0 -

Before you say it, yes, I have heard of freecycle and as yet I am not linked to that. I want people to think before they throw stuff away and try and offer items to others and reduce the landfill . Also people can ask for items and you may think you have not used it for a while and get rid of it o them knowing it will have some use elsewhere. This is not a money making scheme nor does money change hands.
It is easy to laugh, make scarcastic comments and all the rest but have any of these people joined ? and are THEY doing anything to try and get people to recycle more. You only have to read the local Ballymena paper and see what the Council/Bryson are doing and know this is the way we need to go. Ballymena is changing and we need to change to stay with the times.
So wishing to end on a happy note...come and join the group, there are over 30 members so far and the numbers are rising everyday......and think before you throw away an item that others may use.....Thank-you;):beer:0 -
