One thing to be wary of when considering the hotel deals is that hotels appear to have a certain number of rooms allocated to the Tesco deal so (I guess!) theoretically they could have all the Tesco rooms full with the rest of the hotel empty and still tell you they have no rooms available!

I am looking at using my tesco vouchers for the marriott later in the year.

Do you mean that you have to pay for the full stay with vouchers? Or can you pay some vouchers some cash?

In what form do the tesco vouchers come to use in the marriott?

Hi - we have just come back from a lovely stay at the Heathrow Marriott and paid using our Clubcard deals. It cost us (a family of four) £109 + VAT each night for stay and full breakfast. I rang and booked on the central reservations number first, then contacted tesco on the website for the deal tokens.

It all went very easily - we were told we needed to use the bed & breakfast rate for the deals (which is the same rate if we paid cash) - but were not told that VAT would be added (as I remember). Also you can only pay towards the room - you can't pay for meals & drinks with the vouchers.

We had no probs with availability - especially as it was Easter. We will be doing it again - it was so much easier than I expected!
