  • Sounds fab Candy!

    Brrrr it's freezing here!

Have made a vat of soup - with super cheap parsnips - my favourite!! And made 6 portions for the freezer (I take them to work) for about 60p - hooray!
Haven't eaten any of the kids' chocolate.... (not strictly DFW but for me, like many of us it seems, spending and eating are interlinked...)

Kept heating off until now, but have just put it on!

Happy Easter everyone, looks like lots of early posters!

Am hoping for a productive day, especially after my crap day yesterday!

    My dfw things for today:
-Play some free bingo, thanks to a code i received for a free £20 from a bingo site i used to play on ages ago. - Done, now trying to arrange it so that i play enough of the free money in order to be able to withdraw!
-Make a nice Sunday lunch - Done
-Sort out whether it is ok for me to do the mystery shops today because i was unable to do them yesterday, then do the mystery shops tonight.- Sorted now and no probs
-Do some studying for O.U course - Finished one unit and part way through another, will finish later whilst on the bus to my mystery shops, if i've got to go out i may as well make the most of it!
-Do some studying for massage course - Folder sorted and up to date.
-Do my daily clicks - Done
    -Work through emails - Done
    -Check online banking
-Sort out putting bookmarks from old computer onto new computer
-Dry, iron and put away rest of clothes - Done
-Sign up for tesco clubs in the hope of earning more clubcard points - Done
-Check what food i have and do some meal planning with it, in the hope of making it last longer - Done
-Look at placing an online shops and finding a code to use
-Look at what veg i can grow in pots in the hope of cutting down on the food bill - Done
-Clean bathroom, do hoovering and mop floors
-Look on here for more ways of making/saving money - Done

Think thats it for me, although the household jobs are not dfw it helps me to concentrate on what i do have to do so hope no one minds.

    Enjoy your Easter everyone.

Millie, good luck with making all that jewellery, sounds like you'll be busy.
andan I am tired just reading your list for today:eek:

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Today I used a £10 reward voucher at Homebase to buy some paint for £9.49 so I even got 51p change for my pot!

(Amazingly the voucher came through their loyalty card on which I'd spent only £5.99!)
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    Evening all - happy easter

    Today I have....

    checked online banking
    done clicks
raised a ticket with quidco re my Co-op car insurance at £120
make a pot of HM soup in my slow cooker (started making it at midnight so technically it counts as today)
had reduced price steak pie from freezer for dinner
done 2 washes at 30 (but did dry them in TD)
checked freecycle for items of interest
paid for my Sex and the city box set from ebay via quidco. It was from my pay pal account so technically not spent anything on it
put 16 of the 17 eater eggs that the 2 boys recieved away in a cupboard so that i can binge on them at a later date/stop DS1 asking for them every 2 minutes
boiled some out of date eggs and had ds2 paint them then roll them out the back
didn't use petrol on car for day out - watched the Wizard of Oz instead. DS1 is now scared of the witch.......kinda mentioned to him that the witch might come and take some of his easter eggs cos she is bad and also that she especially likes the malteser and flake ones........

The only other thing i have still to do is pull out all the important paperwork and sort out what i need to keep and what i can get rid off. I'm fed up with loads of junk mail lying everywhere
