Good Morning All,

Sunday 23rd March

Please tell us if any of them contain coupons or freebies or vouchers OR NOT !

Important details are:

Whether it's a regional edition
Page number
Expiry date of the voucher

Post even if you don't see any coupons, and mention any offers that you see.

Below you'll find a list of the abbreviations and how to interpret them.

Where would one buy a newspaper today? Are the news agents typically open on Easter? It seems like they wouldn't get enough business to make it worthwhile.

Newsagents are open on Easter day, just like they are New Years day

I remember doing a paper round in the seventies, and being quite miffed that I had to get up early even on Easter day to deliver papers, and Sunday was the worst day, as the bag was four times as heavy!

Petrol stations, corner shops (7-eleven, Co-op, etc., and other private local stores), supermarkets, railway stations, airports, etc.

Plenty of places are going to be open today!

Thanks! And I can sympathize -- not only did I deliver papers on a junior route when I was a teen, but I've spent most of my life working in newspaper (not in England, hence my ignorance of getting a paper on Easter Sunday). I usually worked *all* holidays, and for several years was at a job where we had a late-night deadline (got off work at 1 a.m. -- kinda screws your New Year's Eve and everything else you might want to do after work with friends).

lol. That's true. I was only aged 13 to 15 when i did my paper round tho.
I wanted a pony and saved up for 3 yrs to buy one. I got my paper round at 13, and bought my pony 2 months before I was 14. I paid for his keep doing the paper round until I left school after my O levels and got a job. (MY mum still berates me for not doing my A levels, tho I did do my A Level biology a few years ago at college) It didn't interfere with any social life as my pony was my life, but I know what you mean! LOL

PS Ihad my pony for 18years He died when I was almost 32. (He was 24) He is buried in a lovely plot in a pet cemetery, bless his little heart.
