Been looking for a new tv, though caught my eye on this one ages ago.

Whilst in currys over weekend, noticed the 50" plasma for £999.

Comparing LCD vs Plasma at this side, we thought the plasma looked clearer, sharper and much fuller in colour when next to each other with same demo disk in.
  • correct me if I am wrong.

    1. The Samsung Casing posted is a Samsung LCD TV instead of Plasma TV

    2. 42" Full HD (1080) is one of the latest generation of plasma technology and there 1:1200 contrast rate is a bit low to me.

    3. Samsung has no FULL HD 42" Plasma on the market, so it won't be an OEM
