a little mortgage advice?

im a first time buyer and have currently had my temp contract end.so to apply for a mortgage would be silly.
is it possible for my partner and step dad to apply for the mortgage (both 1st time buyers) and then take my stepdad off once i have a job and put me instead??thanks x

    I don't know how you would legally go about it, but yes, transferring a mortgage to someone else can be done.

    I'm sure one of the mortgage experts on here can tell you how it works!
