deciding what indexation to use. help me please

    can I or an IFA change the indexation whilst I my pension is still active (before annuity) as and when I need to

    Yes.I'd have thought RPI was the best choice, unless your own earnings persistently go up by more than that. .
    Trying to keep it simple...;)

    The OP's looking at a NAEI/RPI indexation not a Final Salary scheme. Their earnings won't effect that

    Yes but the percentage of earnings is relevant. If he chooses 6% and his earnings only go up by 4% (say) to match inflation, then he may be paying more into the pension than he wants to or can afford.
    Trying to keep it simple...;)

    Good point,mised post 9 & thought the op was talking about pension in payment
