does anyone have a recipe for a tiramisu that doesnt require mascapone cos ive been shopping and got everything i need but couldnt get this ingredient.
i can either make it another time if this ingredient is crucial or leave it out/substitute with something else.
your help would be very much appreciated.

i have coffee, cream, amaretto biscuits, chocolate, custard, eggs, tia maria and all basic store cupboard stuff.

I've used cream cheese (Philadelphia type) in place of mascapone and it's worked OK.0

Yes cream cheese works very well indeed, or fromage frais.
