    Thanks for the updates - I'm adding them in as I see them here.

    I see you can get £15.50 for opening a post office savings account. Unfortunately the mimimum deposit is £500 but the interest rate is not fantastic.

    Not sure if you could withdraw all but £1 of this £500 shortly after opening. Might be tempting then.
