Would oil filled ratiaters be cheaper than oil?

    HI again,

    Thanks for all replies. I was just wondering then that even with oil central heating it might save a bit by switching of radiaters in rooms that are not being used. This is what I do anyways but someone has told me its a false ecomomey that I dont really save, though I feel to see the sense in that i.e less radiaters=less water to heat.

    You are spot on and turning down the thermostat on the boiler will also help

    With the price increase in oil geting greater every day is this option now becoming more appealing?
    What price would the oil have to be to make buying the radiators better value?
