Bottle Garden

Hi - I've done loads of searches but can't find a decently priced large round glass bottle to start a bottle garden (terranium?) There are a couple on e-bay, but they seem to be pick-up only (understandable!) and hundreds of miles away.
I know the money-saving way would be to us a big old plastic jobbie
- but my heart is set on a glass one.
Any ideas where I can get one??
Thanks,
WG

Have you asked on your local Freecycle?0

Good idea, Skint_Catt!
I let my membership lapse cos the local freecycle was mostly 'wanted - mobile phones, PC's, PS3's, TV's etc' type ad.
I'll be a bit more patient this time!!

My hubby bought my bottle garden a few years ago in B&Q, i think it was around £10, (obviously this price includes the plants).
I'm sure Focus do them too, if they haven't any in stock yet then i would imagine that it wont be long til they are.My beloved dog Molly27/05/1997-01/04/2008RIP my wonderful stepdad - miss you loads:Axxxxxxxxx:Aour new editionsSenna :male: and Dali :female: both JRT0 -

There is also the leaded glass route. Get a friendly lead glass friend to knock you one up. Like a lantern cloche with a bottom.
May not be cheapest but if you can't find a big enough bottle.0 -
Not quite what I think you're after, but try wine-making suppliers. You'll want carboys or demijohns.

I saw them in Woolworths last year for £15 then reduced to £7.50, so they will probably stock them this year too.0
