I know there's a lot of info there if you aren't a techie type, but the set has a high resolution display, the correct inputs (DVI) to take a PC or high defiction DVD player/SKY box and it has a reasonable response rate at 16ms.

NO this DOES NOT have connections for digital SKY or digital output from DVD players.0

Sky's box will have DVI and component High Definition output, please see their press release from the 3rd of August reported here...
https://www.digitalhomemag.com/news/default.asp?pagetypeid=2&articleid=36855&subsectionid=1308
and Sky's own site here..

As regards DVD players High Def upscaling DVD players via component/DVI are already becoming available and this will only increase as the market grows.
I refer readers to my first post and apologise for not 'Keeping Its Simple Stupid', it isn't a high tech forum just one where people can pick up great priced buys.0 -

A couple of naive questions:
Is this a wide-screen TV?
Is it possible to get a tiltable and swivelable wall-mount for this TV? (There isn't a compatible option referenced at the ebuyer site)
Thanx very much0 -
Yes its widescreen 16:9 ratio.
Probably be one of the VESA fittings, most are in which case mounts are common place but can be pricey.......
