Buffy & Angel Boxsets double discount

For Buffy & Angel fans:

complete dVD box sets, both for £235.48. (or you can buy them individually)
pre-order for release 31/10/05.

Buffy ones were going for £300+ on ebay/amazon marketplace.

LOL,,,,,,,nowhere.....not being released till 31st october should of been a big clue,well the angel one anyway,the buffy one was out last november with the limited edition of 10,000 and a letter from joss weadon,these sold out very quick and were going on ebay for £300+ last christmas,,,,this buffy set will not be one of these though,this is a re-release and will be a straight forward 7 seasons and is being bought out to match the angel boxset.

very good price for the 2 sets though if youve not got the buffy one yet.

i have my buffy set sat here just waiting for the angel set to join it which i pre-ordered from dvd.co.uk(£1 cheaper)

The Buffy complete box sets have been a bit of a nightmare for me and I'd like to get more info about this re-release. The first limited edition 10,000 red box set was the dvd's in a pullout drawer style box set. I already owned the individual bible book style dvds but bought the limited edition 3000 black box set from choices direct. This was supposedly an exclusive but turned out to be simply the original bible book dvds repackaged into a fancy box

I have now ordered the new re-release complete box set and I'm hoping this is going to be the pullout drawer style which is what I really really want! I have emailed the company I've ordered from for clarification. The pictures used on the websites do not give away what style the packaging is. I do not wish to end up with a third set of the bible books!

The cheapest preorder I have seen is HMV

same here,i pre-ordered from 3 other places too as i kept finding it cheaper until i came across filmnight with the 10% discount a few weeks ago,dont think that will be beaten,if you can,let me know please lol

Thanks for your reply mew. I suspected as much and due to some thorough Googling, I'm becoming more convinced that this is the case. And very cheeky too. A lot of online retailers are showing the original 10,000 red collectors edition as the 'photo' of the new 31/10 release which is false advertising in my opinion. I've written to a few of the sellers and they honestly don't know what the set will be so I've told them they should remove the offending picture to prevent misleading anyone else. I've also got hold of a phone number for Fox Entertainment distributors who also don't know what the box set will be (!!!!!!?!) and they are getting hold of the manufacturers for me and will call me back. I mean how daft is that! Noone knows....
