£5 back for every £50 spent on Ikea Storecard

Hi,

*This only applies if you intend to pay off the storecard straight away*

My wife and i went to Ikea Lakeside yesterday (have to go back again today as everything wouldnt fit in the car!) and we thought the offer on the storecards was very good.

For every £50 spent they give you a £5 voucher.

We spent £500 yesterday and got £50 in vouchers.

Now heres the good bit - we had to return approx £150 worth of stuff almost straight away as i couldnt get it into the car - they promptly refunded the store card account but didnt not request the vouchers back :)

The bad bit is if you use the vouchers for part payment of an item, you have to pay the remainder of the balance on your storecard - its a very cheeky way of getting you to use it and they did not tell us at the time - its written on the back of the vouchers.

The reason i've put this on Grabbit is because th eoffer was for a limited time (cant remember how long though).

If your looking to kit your house out and are thinking of spending a substantial amount of money - and, of course, you can afford to repay straight away then you may find this is good for you.

HTH
