When we went with our 2 children (who are 6 and 10) we were each given allocated seat tickets. We had 2 emails one to hubbys address and one to mine. I wouldn't chance going with 2 complimentary tickets for 3 people. If you have only got 2 complimentary tickets, it might be worth emailing Afrika Afrika and explaining that you will have one disappointed child, to see if they can help you.

To try to get tickets, you click on the link provided and kindly updated on page 1. Afirka Afrika allocate 2 complimentary tickets per name/email address-so if you want a family to go, it is best to use different names and email addresses. If you are successful they can email you any time up until 5pm on the day of the show to say you have tickets. Sometimes at weekends it can be the day before. If you do not receive an email by 5pm on the day of the show it means you have not been successful. You print off the email saying you have 2 complimentary tickets and take it with id to the Afrika Afrika tent from 6.45pm (for 8pm performance) to get your tickets.

I think there's an afternoon show but not an evening one (I could be wrong though)

If anyone gets tickets for tonight, could they post on here saying so. I was lucky enough to see the show 3 weeks ago and got the email quite late on (3.30ish). I have applied again for tickets for tonight so I can take my mother in law but I'm currently at work with no access to my email account. People on here were kind enough to advise me when they gor their emails through last time as I was in the same position then.

Ah, well. It looks as if there's no complimentary tickets for me and the mother in law tonight. Did anyone get any?

It seems more than coincidental that there are no complimentary tickets on the days when ebay is flooded with sellers offering these tickets before any confirmations have been sent.

I have to say that I am unconvinced that post 312 is genuine. If the Afrika team wanted to catch these sellers out, it seems unlikely they'd post on here to alert any that could be watching this forum.

All they really need to do is report to the front desk (where you hand the confirmations in) that no emails were sent for a particular performance. That way, anyone turning up at that performance with one (someone said in an earlier post that these sellers may be amending previous confirmations) could be questioned as to why they were were using an altered document.

Alternatively, contact ebay themselves to report sellers for listing items they do not have.

The only other options would be to prohibit the transfer of the emails (which would be a shame as it's nice to help others out like we do on here) or to stop the complimentary tickets altogether (again this would be a shame for us as well as the performers).

I'm sure that giving these complimentary tickets has been worth their while because people are spending when they get into the venue (I don't know about anyone else but I spent a fortune, justifying it because I got the tickets free!!)

Anyhow, let's hope that tickets are available during next week (Sunday's show is too early and I missed the ones for tomorrow - they must have been available for a very limited time!)

No tickets for tonight , I have tried on a few occasions with no luck.

I have just looked on ebay where one person is selling tickets for various dates he/she only registered with ebay in March and has only sold tickets for this show. He/she has left the bidding open and added the highest bidder by 5pm the night of the show will get the tickets. So is obviously getting them through this complimentary ticket site. Does seem a shame when one persons greed spoils it for everyone who genuinely just wants some free tickets for themselves.
