Basic State Pension increase and Inflation

The basic state pension to be paid to a single person from 07 Apr 08 has increased from £87.30 to £90.70 weekly. That is a 3.895% increase.
I'd like to know what index is used for this increase, e.g. RPI, CPI, RPIX and what month's index is used.
Thanks in advance.
