voluntary repos

:-[I recently voluntarily turned a fairly new truck & car back in to the respective financial institutions. I could not afford pmts after changes in income. I now wish I had sold the vehicles and paid the bank what I could, but there was too much negative equity to do so. Anyhow, on my credit report, they are shown as repos and chargeoffs. However they turned this over to credit agencies that worried me so until I agreed to pay them $75 a month for 6 mo each, then try to reach a settlement. But if they have already charged these debts off, & the damage has been done to my credit, then should I even pay these agencies? I really can't afford to. Help!!!
