IPoints - Is it worth it?

  • I'm not a huge fan, only used it for mysupermarket (doing my Tesco food shop) but last week they halved the points awarded for each purchase :( plus mysupermarket is slightly misleading in that although it shows you the totals for your shopping at tesco, asda, sainsburys and ocado, if you do change your basket from tesco to asda for example, you often find that once you've selected the replacement items that there was no straight swap for the total is often much lower than first shown. So if you do a shop for Tesco, try switching to Asda and go through all the swaps, there's not usually that much difference in the total!

I;m missing around 25,000 points which never tracked from various casinos and bingo. Lucky im well up on winnings, it states it can take 30 days then when you email them they say well 60 days is more common. Why not just state allow 60 days then?

I just do the click thru's, polls and mysupermarket with ipoints andhave just used 6900 for a £30 voucher. It took me 4 months to get those points as I got my DSD a mag subscription for her birthday in Nov.

I've not really bothered with them since they didn't give me the points for changing phone company last year. Had a few odd bits from them over the years, but now just click throughs and polls mainly

  • I joined just over a year ago, and have had 6 bottles of wine and £70 in vouchers in this time - am just about to order another £30 voucher. I do spend sometimes (mysupermarket, amazon, etc, and take up offers where they are profitable (particularly 3 month mag subscriptions for £1 - that typically pay 600 - 800 points).
I make a list of what I have signed up for - as I often have to chase, but no real problems. Definitely worth it for me.

They're currently running a daily 'Find the Easter egg' competition. Today the egg was at Bingo Cafe. You receive 20 points daily for clicking on the egg.

I used to transfer Toluna points to ipoints and they increased quite quickly. Toluna stopped doing this though. Also, during the month you can receive 4 x 20 ipoints for doing 'Webfetch' surveys. They can help you to increase points. Just type Webfetch in ipoints search.
