I'm quite a novice with cakes, but I am determined to make by dd's cake for her 2nd birthday. She is having a pony party and I am going to make a cake, ice it with green icing and coconut bits for grass effect then I want to stick chocolate fingers around the edge, like a fence. What icing would I need to make so they stick to it?

I would use your normal icing, quite gluggy. If you have a sugarcraft shop near you, you could buy some edible glue.
