Dyeing blinds

I have two roman blinds which were made to measure. I am redecorating room and was wondering if there were any products that would dye or bleach them them white effectively as I want to create a 'New England' style on the cheap. They are currently a dark blue with a bright pink pencil edging. Any ideas on what I could use.

i dont think they will bleach that well, as most blinds tend to have a coating to stiffen the fabric

ikea do cheap roman blinds, but the cheaper the blind, usually the thinner the fabric, so expect them to be seethru

however, roman blinds are really easy to make, espec if you use the tape (rather than having to sew pockets), and you could reuse the rods/header from your current blinds
